Diverse, Nederlandse hotels zijn weer genomineerd voor de World Travel Awards. Zowel nationaal als internationaal.

De awards worden jaarlijks uitgereikt. De genomineerden vloeien voort uit onder andere enquêtes onder reisorganisaties en reizigers over de hele wereld. Zo wordt op grond van persoonlijke ervaringen bepaald wie de beste is per categorie en per land.
De ontknoping van de European Travel Awards 2012 is in oktober, de ontknoping van de World Travel Awards is in december.
