In totaal hebben 7 Nederlandse hotels donderdag 1 november een World Luxury Hotel Award gewonnen. De prijzen werden uitgereikt in Phuket in Thailand.

Het Nijmeegse Hotel Manna ging naar huis met de award Best Hotel Restaurant Europe. Ook Hotel De L’Europe viel in de prijzen in de categorie Luxury Suite Hotel Nederland. Het Amsterdamse The Toren werd verkozen tot Best Luxury Romantic Hotel en Carlton Ambassador ging naar huis met de award Best Luxury City Hotel. Daarnaast won Het Sofitel Legend The Grand in Amsterdam de award voor Best Luxury Spa Hotel en The Manhatten in Rotterdam de award voor Best Luxury Business Hotel van Nederland. In de categorie Best Serviced Apartments van Europa won Amsterdam Boutique Apartments.
